The Vancouver Island Neurosurgical Foundation is a non-profit composed of a team of neurosurgeons and researchers who create clinical and academic programs to improve patient care and outcomes.

The Risky Behaviour Lab

The Risky Behaviour Lab is a research lab aimed at understanding when and why people deliberately engage in behaviours that are physically harmful to themselves.

Project Manager (2023 - 2024)

Contributions and responsibilities:​

  • Organized and facilitated international, longitudinal research study investigating social and mental health effects of olfaction under the direction of study's primary investigator

    • Conducted literature reviews, manipulated scales, collected and managed data, worked alongside participants, managed advertisement campaings, connected with large scale organizations​

  • Directed, oversaw and scheduled a team of six research assistants

  • Organized and facilitated mental health intervention for individuals with smell loss

    • Conducted literature reviews, curated interactive modules, constructed digital content â€‹

Oak Bay Parks, Recreation and Culture

Recreation Oak Bay is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming and safe environment where everyone can participate in recreational opportunities regardless of age, ability, background and economic status.

  • Led projects that fostered support, access, and inclusion for all patrons, volunteers, and staff across entire organization

Victoria Brain Injury Society

The Victoria Brain Injury Society's mission is to support, educate, advocate and provide housing assistance for brain injury survivors and their families to increase community awareness about brain injuries and reduce the harmful stigma experienced by survivors.

  • Refined, organized and facilitated 4-week adult education program regarding acquired brain injuries for clients ​​

    • Tailored program into workshop for external organizations and groups ​

Canadian Blood Services

Canadian Blood Services is an independent, not-for-profit charitable organization regulated as a biologics manufacturer by Health Canada, and is responsible for ensuring that patients across the country have safe, reliable access to the high-quality blood, plasma, stem cells, and organs and tissues they need.
